Rohinton P. Medhora addresses competition with China

CIGI partnered with King’s College London on its Project for Peaceful Competition to increase global understanding of the threats to peaceful competition between China and the West. Essays and videos featuring CIGI experts, including CIGI board member Kevin Rudd, sought to probe possible means of addressing these threats through the adjustment of power relationships, the management of conflicts, and cooperation — despite inevitable competition between world powers.

Summarizing a broad range of conclusions and recommendations, Rohinton P. Medhora and King’s College London Policy Institute professor Oliver Letwin noted that there are opportunities to build on the WTO’s Declaration on Global Electronic Commerce and establish a Digital Stability Board led by the Group of Twenty countries.
