CIGI’s annual fall conference, October 28-30, 2011 in Waterloo, Ontario will begin an inventory and gap analysis of “Where are the holes in international governance?" This gap analysis will map the formal and informal governance arrangements and mechanisms in selected sectors at the global level; the inventory would assess the existing global coordinating mechanisms and agencies and informal networks of officials. CIGI’11 will be the first step in the G20 think tank network cooperative effort, with a view to identifying research priorities.
