The eleventh Financial Regulatory Outlook Conference, “A New Age of Finance” co-hosted by the Oliver Wyman Forum and the Centre for International Governance Innovation, examined the impacts of climate, energy and technology transitions on the changing European financial landscape. The conference, held on October 17, 2024, in Rome, Italy, featured panellists from the public and private sectors. Discussion topics included issues arising from new capital providers competing with banks and whether this “new age of finance” can support Europe’s growth in a sustainable way.
