The Honourable Kaleed Rasheed is Ontario’s first associate minister for digital government and is hard at work helping the province become a world-leading digital jurisdiction. As a long-time champion of Canada’s technology industry, he brings extensive private sector experience, spanning banking, services and telecommunications, to this new role. A community advocate and a father of five, Minister Rasheed is dedicated to ensuring a future-proof, safe and prosperous Ontario. His first private member’s bill, the Stop Cyberbullying in Ontario Day Act, 2019, passed with unanimous consent of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Minister Rasheed holds a bachelor of business administration from the University of Guelph-Humber and a master of business administration from the University of Bradford.
