Bio
Rozita Dara is an expert in artificial intelligence (AI) and data governance, with a focus on agri-food systems. She has worked as a senior scientist at BlackBerry and privacy officer at the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. At the University of Guelph, she has spearheaded several initiatives related to digital agri-food applications, including enhancing agriculture data trust and protection frameworks and improving automation in agri-food practices. Her work contributes to national and global efforts on AI and data technologies in agriculture and food.
