Bio
Petros C. Mavroidis is the Edwin B. Parker Professor of Foreign and Comparative Law at Columbia Law School. He teaches the law of the WTO. He also co-teaches a course on corruption and sports and a seminar on international trade regulation issues. His latest major publication is the book The Regulation of International Trade (MIT Press, 2016), which won the 2017 Certificate of Merit in a Specialized Area of International Law from the Executive Council of the American Society of International Law. The honour is awarded annually to a recent work that represents “a distinguished contribution to the field.” He has served as chief reporter for the ALI Study “Principles of International Trade: the WTO” (2013).
