Nadia Al-Sakkaf is a prominent Yemeni scholar and journalist who promotes women’s rights, press freedoms and sustainable social and environmental development in Yemen. She served for a short time as minister of information in the Yemeni government and was long-time editor in chief of the prominent English language newspaper Yemen Times. She is currently a researcher with the 21 Century Forum based in the United Kingdom She has a Ph.D. in politics from University of Reading in the United Kingdom.
