Maya Medeiros is an intellectual property (IP) lawyer, patent agent (Canada, United States) and trademark agent (Canada, United States), and has a degree in mathematics and computer science. She has extensive technical experience in artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, cybersecurity, cryptography, payments, virtual and mixed reality, wearables, and other computer-related technologies. She is a key contributor to www.aitech.law on the ethical and legal implications of AI. She advises on IP strategy and develops programs to build global IP portfolios.
