Madeline Kristoff spent 10 months in the West Bank as a Boren Fellow and has recently left the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies at the National Defense University. 

Previously, she worked at the US Institute of Peace with the Security Sector Governance Center and interned at the US Department of State. Madeline received her M.A. in international peace and conflict studies from American University’s School of International Service and B.A. degrees in Middle Eastern studies and foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.
