Bio
Heather Pryse is completing a master’s degree in global governance through the University of Waterloo based at the BSIA. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A (honours) in criminology.
She has worked with non-governmental organizations in the horn of Africa, specifically on women empowerment initiatives. Her areas of specialization include gender studies, transitional justice and human rights. She is currently exploring the role of remedies and reparations for victims of mass atrocities, with specific attention to survivors of sexual violence.
