Bio
Federico M. Mucciarelli is a reader in law in the School of Finance and Management, SOAS University of London, and an associate professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
He has a J.D. from the University of Bologna (1996), an LL.M. from the University of Heidelberg (2000) and a Ph.D. in business law from the University of Brescia (2003). He was a visiting scholar in many research institutes and universities, such as the Max Planck Institute of Hamburg, the University of Oxford and the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies. He also worked at the Banca d’Italia from 2000 to 2001.
Federico has written several articles published in Italian and international journals on topics related to domestic and international company, insolvency and capital market law, with a particular focus on takeover regulation and international company law. He acted as one of the principal investigators for the Study on the Law Applicable to Companies drafted for the European Commission and published in 2016.
