Bio
Évelyne Jean-Bouchard is a researcher specializing in feminist legal anthropology. She is currently a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council postdoctoral fellow at the Centre de recherche en droit public at the University of Montreal. She holds a Ph.D. in law from the University of Ottawa and an LL.M. in international law from l’Université du Québec à Montréal. She has worked in French Africa, in Haiti and with Quebec’s Indigenous communities. Évelyne has received several fellowships and awards, including a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship and the Alice Wilson Award from the Royal Society of Canada (2018).
