Bonnita Nyamwire is the director of research at Pollicy. She has experience, spanning more than 15 years, in public health and social science research and program/project evaluation in areas of maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, water and sanitation, digital rights, safety and security online as well as data governance and tech policy analysis and advocacy. Some of the projects that Bonnita has worked on in the data and digital ecosystem focus on technology-facilitated violence against women in African countries, African women’s experience and work in artificial intelligence, the state of the digital labour platform economy in Uganda, and data governance practices in both public and private entities in Uganda.
