This is the fourth and final session of the IGC summer series. The first three sessions examined pressing issues related to disinformation, electoral interference and the COVID-19 infodemic, as well as the impact of online hate and the importance of a robust media ecosystem. Underlying all of these issues are challenges related to how to govern the private, transnational social media platforms that enable both the positive and negative aspects of our modern information ecosystem.
This final summer session will allow participants to explore platform governance issues, and to understand better how they can situate their own work into a broader policy agenda.
This event is by invitation only. If you are interested in learning more, please contact us at [email protected]
