CIGI is thrilled to partner with FRIENDS of Canadian Broadcasting to present a complimentary screening of Digital Disconnect. This film shines a light on the destructive aspects of the digital world and introduces a plan to find a way out of the fake news, post-truth, filter bubbles and privacy breaches. Following the film, FRIENDS' executive director Daniel Bernhard will be on hand for a discussion about the impact of the digital world on Canadian democracy. With a federal election on the horizon, Bernhard will highlight the urgency of this issue and provide audience members with a clear opportunity to act.
